FROM THIS...
TO THIS...
In about 60 seconds! This little girl is so busy and so non stop, me and my pregnant belly can barely keep up! I was getting dressed, she walked into my bathroom, opened the drawer and found a forgotten Back To Basics black powder eyeliner bottle with a very poorly secured lid. She had it all over her hands, the floor, her clothes and her face! Placing her in the bathtub only made the situation worse by spreading it! Oh and it was about 6:45 AM...yes people AM! She has decided that the best time for this little bird to catch her worms is at about 4:45 in the morning! Fortunately for her, she has everyone wrapped around everyone one of her adorable little fingers...she really can do no wrong! She just has to look at us with those adorable blue eyes or stick out that pouty bottom lip and she has us falling all over her! Even Kaya has been entranced with her spell! Her favorite new activity is to take Kaya's dog food one by one and place it in his water...he hates dog food anyway so he doesn't mind. Besides she sticks in little goodies of her own every once in awhile so I think that he feels like he gets the best of both worlds. Today she added cans of soup to his water bowl. I think that she is just looking out for his nutritional needs, making sure he has a very balanced diet!
My little guy...well is not so little anymore, but since he is the only boy and still likes to snuggle, I will keep on calling him my little guy for as long as he will let me. He turned five last month...ahhhhhh...five, every time I say it, it makes my head spin! Anyway, I took him to his Well Check this week. He was laying up on the table while the doctor listened to his chest. I looked down at Ainslee and at that moment a loud fanny burp (my mothers name for fart) echoed through the room. I looked up ready to tell my five year old to excuse himself, when I realized that that was way too loud and weird sounding to have come from my son. I looked at the doctor waiting for him to show some acknowledgment of what he had done....and there was nothing. He pretended like nothing had happened...or maybe the stethoscope in his ears blocked him from hearing anything and he thought it was silent. But we all just went about like nothing had happened in this tiny room, except for a regular normal check up. When we got to the car, Trey asked me if I heard the doctor beep. I said that I had and he said, "He didn't even say excuse me mom, and I couldn't laugh, cause that would hurt his feelings." I laughed to myself most of the way home, to think of my son laying on that table trying not to laugh at his doctor. When Tad got home Friday after being gone for a week, it was the very first thing that Trey shared with his dad. I don't know if Trey will ever be able to look at the doctor the same way!
So obviously I have been on blog hiatus for awhile...but my one request from Tad when he bought me my Mac was that I would start blogging again...so here I am! I really have missed it and I have had a blast reading everyone else's and even reading past posts! Things are only going to get busier and crazier, but with crazy comes fun and many more stories and of course pictures, so stay tuned!!!
