“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.”

Time

With only a little over three weeks to go before we welcome our bundle of joy into our home, time is on the forefront of my mind. The main concern is that suddenly there became not enough of it. I personally blame it on the belly that is growing leaps and bounds daily and making projects like bending over, sleeping and even walking a little bit difficult. By this point I usually have the nursery ready, clothes and blankets washed and hung, bags packed and birth plans printed out on adorable paper! About three days ago I realized my time restraint and about had a panic attack. Nothing done...how did nine months go by so quickly? As I run through my mind what I am about to blog, I am getting a better idea as to how time has flown by. So my goal for today...cross "blog" off my list and pick out a print for my new Hooter Hider!

My Little Girl Turned 8 and Got Baptized!

Aurianna had a great month of November celebrating her birthday with all of her friends and then having all of her family join her for her baptism! It was a truly wonderful day that we will all remember forever. You couldn't remove the beaming smile that she had pasted on her face for the entire weekend! Thanks to all that were able to come celebrate with her!

Livia Became an Ice Princess for her Recital!

My little superstar had her dance recital the night of Aurianna's baptism! It worked out perfectly to have all of our family there! She steps out on stage and her "I am the center of attention" attitude kicks in! Her smile couldn't get any bigger! She was adorable and of course loved all of the flowers!

November also brought...USU Cheer Camp, Decorating the Tree, Disney Princess on Ice & Thanksgiving!

Trey, with the help of Uncle Dustin and his pink snuggie, showed off his mad guitar hero skills for everyone at Thanksgiving! We all had a blast! We also decided this year that we have officially grown out of our tree. Not only are we not going to be able to fit anymore ornaments on it, next year Aurianna is going to be taller than it! 40 dollars for 12 years...not bad!

Well once again, time has run out! This will have to become a part one, part two blog! Alex you better be smiling! Until next time!

PS. My spell check isn't working, along with my picture posting thing (thus the reason that pictures are out of order...if you know how to fix it, please let me know!). Please forgive me...the brain cells have been slightly on the decline! Spelling vs brain cells(kids!), well worth it!

Carnivals, pumpkin patches & Jedi's OH MY!

Why don't I ever remember Pre-Halloween ever being this busy. I honestly thought that we weren't going to make it through the week. But we didn't want to miss a second of all the fun that was going on!
We have the greatest Pumpkin Patch that we go to every year. This year, while we had our nieces up for the weekend, we took them out and let everyone hunt for the perfect pumpkin! We went early enough this year that the kids got to pick apples too! They thought this was amazing that they could pick the apples straight from the trees and eat them!

Next came Witch's Night Out! We didn't dress up, but we are planning a major witch hat decorating party next year! We had a blast goofing off, eating caramel apples, and waiting in a horrible line for the men's bathroom in which there were only two stalls. Thanks Katie, Loretta, Jolene and Mom...can't wait until next year!

Livia and Trey went to the Pumpkin Walk for their school field trip this month...another great Logan tradition! They had a blast with all of their friends and trying to find the M & M's in all of the scenes! The theme this year was TV Commercials! Our favorite was the Band Aid scene with a little boy going to the bathroom and the PC and MAC! Thanks Miss Holly for such fun memories!

The pumpkin walk is Tad and Aurianna's favorite Halloween tradition, so we of course had to take them back the next night! We went at night so we could see everything glow!!!

We brought these fun treats to the Anderson's annual "Spudnuck" party! They were a blast to make, and pretty tasty too!

Tuesday night we stuck in there Aurianna's last basketball game! She was awesome this year and had the greatest coach!
Then we headed straight over to our ward Halloween party! I couldn't get the kids to leave! Our YW and YM do such a great job every year! Thanks guys!

Next came the Aggies Blue and White game! This is the kids favorite game of the season every year! We get to watch the aggies play each other and then there is always fun games and prizes! The best part comes at the end when the players line up at a table and the kids get to go through and have posters signed! I think Dad and Aarron enjoyed it even more than the kids...they get all gitty talking about what a great season it is going to be!!!

Class parties and carving pumpkins came next! Although the pumpkins almost didn't happen this year! Thank heavens for daddy who carved them all while the kids made the designs and then watched Charlie Brown Halloween show (I can't remember what it is called!). And me...I am not trusted with knives right now...so I stuck to cleaning the seeds! The kids all had fun class parties this year! Lots of goodies and crafts to make the day special!!!

So finally we made it to Halloween. (We also had another basketball game, a birthday party and a baptism stuck in between!). On Halloween morning I said to Trey, "Are you ready to get your Jedi Night costume on?" He replied, "Again?". I had to laugh as I explained to him that today was the real deal...the big prize, where all the candy came from...he honestly really didn't care until that night of course! We had a blast trick or treating on main street, and then heading over to our ward trunk or treat! By that point the kids were really into it...wanting to head around the other neighborhoods...it was mom and dad who finally pooped out and brought everyone home! But I think that our witch, rock star and Jedi Night all had a blast!
